Role at JSO:  Managing Director

I founded my company in 1998 which, with a name change, became Just Simply Organised in early 2003. I started out in Banking many years ago and following that have been a nurse and run a village Post Office stores for six years. I qualified with my level 4 AAT when my three children were very young, nearly forty years ago, and I needed something to keep me occupied in the evenings (my children were all very good sleepers!).

Outside of work I love gardening, I used to be really sporty but that seems to fallen by the wayside now J. I enjoy walking with Monty and we like to explore new places as often as we can. My family are very important to me and spending time with them is always top of the list.

What do you most enjoy about your current role?  I am continuously learning in my role, which I thoroughly enjoy. I also enjoy training the new staff members and sharing my knowledge with them. A lot of our clients have been with me /us for well over 20 years and they are not only clients. They are now my good friends too….

What is your best quality?   I am very good at finding solutions to troublesome problems and enjoy a challenge. Unlike Alex, I am very patient at work and, like him, calm under pressure.

Secret skill?  Driving, namely rally driving and off-roading.

Wine or beer?   Neither as I don’t drink…but I do love chocolate!!

What is the last thing you would grab from your house in an emergency?   Monty and my phone.

Sweet or savoury?  Sweet, although that seems to be changing with age.

Dinner party guest you would love to invite?    Dimash Kudaibergen…a brilliant musician and philanthropist.
